After 28 incredible years in the Short North, ROY G BIV Gallery is moving to Franklinton!

These are exciting times for ROY, as the new gallery will occupy 2,048 square feet on the SE corner of Rich and Lucas, more than doubling our current square footage in the Short North Gallery. The new location will exhibit a significantly greater number of emerging artists and bring forth new partnerships and arts programming for the community.

Here are some key facts to know about the move to our new home:

  • 1. ROY will be in the Short North through at least May 31, then move into the new gallery in late summer/early fall 2018 at the River and Rich development.
  • 2. The new space is bigger and more modular, thus allowing for more artists, creative exhibits, and programming in the space.
  • 3. Support from CASTO, Moody Nolan and other generous donors will provide a state-of-the-art space while keeping true to the ROY mission.
  • 4. ROY will partner with more arts organizations, like Ft Hayes, Wild Goose Creative, Riffe Gallery, and especially those in Franklinton, like 400 West Rich and Idea Foundry.

We’re very excited to share our plans with you, and will continue to provide details as they emerge. 2018 will be a monumental year for ROY and our contribution to the arts.  ROY’s approach to exhibiting innovative, thought-provoking and challenging artwork will continue in Franklinton.
